Joul ("we," "our," or "the app") is a meal tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Your meal data, nutrition logs, and personal profile information are stored locally on your device only. We do not store or transmit your meal logs to our servers.
When you log meals, the app may send food text to our backend for nutrition calculation and AI-powered parsing. This data is used only to return nutrition estimates and is not stored permanently for meal tracking purposes.
If you use the "Share feedback" feature, your rating and optional message are sent to our servers and may be stored for improving the app.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not store your payment information. Subscription status is verified through RevenueCat, which may collect necessary data for subscription management.
